“Perfect setup for trial war room”

The recent addition of the Speakeasy Penthouse, http://www.hoteldefuniak.com/speakeasy-penthouse?rt=1&ri=14652586, to the Hotel Defuniak's lineup of services to out of town attorney's makes it the perfect place to set up shop for trial across the street from the courthouse. With a great work area right in the room, you can comfortably prepare for trial and have a retreat at the end of the day. Tom and his staff know the needs of attorneys during trial and they are always available to assist. Book early!

I have stayed at the Hotel Defuniak twice while having trials in Defuniak Springs. Tom and his crew provide a great, relaxed atmosphere. They will bend over backwards to help with those last minute needs. It is always great to start the day with a great breakfast and return to a familiar face. I highly recommend this hotel!

The Facility:

•  Building:  Two story historic structure was built in 1900 by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.  The ground level was leased as retail space to support the Lodge housed on the 2^nd floor.  During the prohibition years there was a speakeasy window in the entry door and passwords were often used to screen out non-members.  The Lodge was recently restored and is currently on the National Registry of Historic Places.  The Ground level houses Edward Jones Investments while the entire second story flat is our swanky Speakeasy Penthouse.
• Décor:   The décor is a fresh Retro/Deco design with high ceilings and deco lighting creating a real since of luxury and class.   
• Amenities:  This 2 bedroom flat has full kitchen facilities with microwave, refrigerator, electric stove and oven, china, silverware and a regular coffee maker with Gourmet coffee, washer and dryer, eat-in kitchen bar, whiskey bar, conference table and lounge area with flat screen TV.
• Conveniences:  Join us at the Hotel Café for gourmet coffee and a hot B&B style breakfast with fruits and juices….and a staff dedicated to exceeding your expectations.
• Dining:   Casual fine dinning at its best with a full bar and live entertainment on Saturday nights. Serving lunch and dinner daily Monday thru Saturday. 
• Fitness:  Jog or walk around beautiful Lake DeFuniak with its one mile track at waters edge or through the historic district with the many Victorian homes and bungalows.
